Interview with Dr. Campbell
Podcast Episode 1
Welcome to the Topos Podcast!
As a team, we saw a need to explore the hazy lines of self, sacred spaces, and the stories that happen in between the two. In life, everyone curates, collects, and displays all the little trinkets that have some deep importance to them (check out our pilot episode that has a fainting couch); or in some cases, a lack of special items. Nonetheless, our team wants to know the story there. So with deep respect, gratitude, joy, and of course permission, the team lugs around some sound equipment and enters the threshold of these seemingly familiar yet wildly unexplored spaces. It is our mission to befriend, understand, laugh with, share, and experience the life of the most random. To see and appreciate the moments and items they are willing to share with us. To hear their why. From there, we hope to share their story with you, the listener.
Therein lies the groundwork for our podcast. As a ragtag group of about-to-graduate-from-college undergraduates, we spent a large amount of time writing, editing, debating, laughing, distracting, and eating snacks to create something truly special to us. The hosts, Taylor and Joel, are a dynamic duo that really want to laugh and be present with whomever they are interviewing. Our producer, Alexander, spends way too much time trying to change the name of our group to “team SWAG dragons.” Our editor, Eugene, the champion and backbone of our team, definitely does way too much and we are eternally indebted to him. Together, we are all backed up by another 14 peers who all love to both critique and compliment the work we do. We would be nothing without the support and feedback of all involved.
We all thank you for listening!
